Leighton Paul
Leighton was born and raised in Portland. Her love for the community and the vibrant neighborhoods encouraged her to remain rooted here to continue the exploration of what the ever-changing city has to offer. She comes from a 3-year background in the mortgage industry, allowing her to apply her loan expertise to better assist clients in the home-buying process. Leighton spent a lot of time in contact with numerous realtor partners, hearing firsthand how difficult their jobs could be. She also saw how motivating their wins were, and how a positive mindset kept the successful realtors moving forward. Eventually she realized she wanted in on this very challenge. It was very fitting for her to join the Own It Northwest team, having collaborated with them often during her time in the mortgage industry. Leighton always wanted to find a career that included helping others, so she thought it was a wonderful opportunity to bring that talent to real estate and support people during one of the most important transactions of their lifetime. Outside of work Leighton enjoys eating her way through Portland's outstanding food scene, attending concerts, traveling, and horseback riding.
